Privacy

Community Hub is a non-commercial neighborhood dashboard. It is run as an independent project, not by a real-estate brokerage. Real-estate agents and lenders shown on the site are independent professionals who claim their own ZIP coverage; we do not employ them.

We collect only what we need to run the dashboard, the newsletter, and the agent / lender directory:

• Resident leads — when you contact an agent or lender through the site we store your name, email, phone, the property address you mentioned (if any), and your message, plus the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission.
• Newsletter subscribers — your email and the ZIP codes you subscribed to. We log opens and clicks to measure engagement.
• Search activity — the ZIP codes you look up, the time of the look-up, and a hashed identifier (IP address) used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
• Agent and lender profiles — legal name, business email and phone, brokerage, office address, license number, and any photos or evidence provided during verification.
• Cookies and local storage — strictly the items needed to keep you signed in, remember your ZIP, and remember your favorites.

• Show you the dashboard for the ZIPs you visit.
• Send newsletters you have explicitly subscribed to.
• Pass leads to the agent or lender you contacted.
• Verify agent and lender identities before listing them.
• Prevent spam, abuse, and runaway costs (rate-limiting and fraud checks).

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising on the site. We do not share leads outside of the agent or lender you chose to contact.

We share the minimum data necessary with a small number of vendors to operate the site:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Resend — sending newsletters and transactional email.
• Upstash Redis — rate-limiting and caching.
• Perplexity, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Places — used to generate neighborhood content on the dashboard. We send ZIP-level prompts, not personal data.

• IP addresses on search activity: 30 days.
• IP address and user-agent on leads: 90 days; the lead itself stays with the agent / lender it was sent to.
• Newsletter campaign chat history: 1 year.
• Email-platform webhook records: 90 days.
• Newsletter subscribers and agent / lender profiles: until you (or the owner) request deletion.

You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@communityhub.local from the address tied to your account or lead. We will confirm receipt and act on the request within 30 days.

Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe instantly using the link at the bottom of every email.

Community Hub is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will remove it.

We will post any material change to this notice on this page and update the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
